The Kenya Flower Council (KFC), a private sector-led organization, has been at the forefront of this effort since its formation in 1996.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b><i>Flowers and Ornamentals Sustainability Standard (FOSS):<\/i><\/b> The KFC developed its own internationally recognized certification standard, FOSS (KFC Silver and Gold Certification).
